Optimized Rocker lines for all conditions
The Hurricane board features a rocker line meticulously designed to handle all types of water conditions. The front rocker is shaped to match the natural curve of ocean swells, preventing the nose from diving during takeoff or transitions. The midsection has a flatter rocker to maximize glide and enhance the rider’s connection with the foil. At the back, the optimized release angle maintains efficiency when the board is in contact with water, while also minimizing tail touchdowns during pumping phases.
Full-Length Bevel for Forgiveness and Stability
A continuous bevel runs along the entire length of the board, providing increased stability and tolerance in choppy waters. This bevel helps soften the impact of water touches during flight by reducing the angle of contact, making the board more forgiving and easier to handle in rough conditions.
Balanced Volume Distribution for Efficient Takeoff
Volume is strategically distributed across the board to improve both performance and stability. The nose carries just enough volume to help project the board forward during takeoff, offering a smoother, more controlled lift. At the tail, the volume supports balanced floatation, contributing to a stable platform and evenly distributed buoyancy.
Dug-Out Deck for Control and Direct Feel
The recessed deck design lowers the rider’s center of gravity, creating a more stable platform for paddling and a more direct connection with the foil. This increased responsiveness allows for greater control during flight and more confident handling in challenging water conditions.
Comfort Tail for Stable Paddle Power
Designed with downwind performance in mind, the tail shape maximizes stability on the board during paddling. This improved stability lets the rider apply more power and technical precision in each stroke. Hurricane 97L
For lighter riders between 40 and 75 kg, the Hurricane 97 L is built for speed, reactivity, and connection to the water. Its compact 7'8.5" x 17.2" shape accelerates fast and offers precise handling, making it ideal for linking bumps with control and flow. The narrow outline and efficient volume distribution improve glide and responsiveness, while the dug-out deck lowers your center of gravity for better foil feedback. Thanks to its smooth rocker and full-length bevel, this board delivers sharp performance without sacrificing forgiveness in rougher conditions.
Hurricane 108L
At 8'0" x 17.5", the Hurricane 108 L is designed for riders between 75 and 85 kg seeking the perfect blend of glide, stability, and maneuverability. Easy to paddle and quick to lift, it performs smoothly across a wide range of conditions. The refined rocker profile supports consistent speed and efficient takeoff, while the balanced volume helps keep control through transitions. Hurricane 119L
For riders over 85 kg or those new to downwind foiling, the Hurricane 119 L provides a stable, supportive platform that makes progression easier. At 8'3.5" x 17.8", it offers generous volume for steady lift and easy paddling, while the rocker and outline help maintain speed and control in choppy water. The bevel softens touches, and the dug-out deck adds control by lowering the stance.
